To administer insulin therapy
Insumed Syringes (0.3 ml)
0.3 ml insulin syringes
Extremely fine insulin syringes.
WHAT ARE THEY?
Sterile, disposable thin-needle syringes for your insulin injections. Suitable for injecting small quantities of up to 30 IUs.
WHAT DO THEY DO FOR YOU?
They ensure you receive the correct dosage in a gentle, almost painless injection, thanks to the triple-sharpened, narrow tip of the Pic needle.
WHAT MAKES THEM UNIQUE?
The graduated scale also shows half-units of insulin, a particularly important advantage when injecting children. The marks are widely spaced, so the numbers are large and legible, and the pack also includes a magnifying glass to help you administer the exact dose. Also, all syringes are Zero-Space. This means the needle is fixed directly to the body of the syringe, and there is no additional space in which insulin could accumulate, so you get exactly the quantity you need. The flat rubber washer is in contact with the transparent cylinder of the syringe in three places, so it stays firmly in place during aspiration and injection. Because it's latex free, it also prevents allergic reactions. The final detail? A stop inside the cylinder, so the plunger doesn't come out of the end.
IN WHAT FORMATS CAN YOU FIND THEM?
The syringe is available in 2 versions with different needle diameters:
- 31G x 8 mm
- 30G x 8mm
Both types come in packs of 30, split into 3 protective packs of 10 syringes each. There is one magnifying glass per box of 30.
Every syringe also comes with a needle cap, plunger cap and sterility seal.
